Elke Coenders
Elke Coenders is the Features editor of the Lafayette Times and is a freshman at Lafayette High School. She is in the SCAPA Literary Arts program and is bilingual, having studied in the Spanish Immersion program for nine years. She has acquired many different outlooks because she grew up in a Latino and Spanish cultural environment, and she is the daughter of Chinese and Dutch immigrants. She has a passion for travel and has been to many different countries. She aspires to become a writer. Her favorite quote is "Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing."-Benjamin Franklin.
