September Horoscope
Everyone knows that the moon affects the tides of our world’s ocean since 60% of the human body is made up of water. How far off would it be that the moon affects us as well? Maybe the Sun, Jupiter, Mars, Mercury, and maybe Venus, too. While astrology is interesting and accurate for many I would encourage people to not base their entire life around it and instead just have fun with it.
A way you can know how to shift your direction and energy throughout the month is by paying attention to the monthly transits, which describe planetary movements from one star constellation to another. If you aren’t familiar with any of the 12 constellations, known as the zodiac, or any of the planet archetypes then not to fear.
Here are the most important planetary transits this month:
Venus enters Scorpio on September 10th
Venus is the planet of love, luxury, and all things self-care. Since this planet is leaving its home sign, Libra, you may find yourself becoming more reserved in romantic interests. A benefit of this transit is more people taking time to nurture themselves, as the water sign Scorpio brings intensity. The downside everyone should avoid is becoming obsessive both in the way you perceive yourself and your relationships with others.
Mars enters Libra on September 14th
Mars is the planet of action, motivation, and drive. Libra being a sign that strives for balance and is commonly viewed as the most diplomatic of the signs should help lighten up the seriousness with which we pursue our endeavors. While we can’t avoid conflict, Mars in Libra transit can decrease the intensity of any social and personal conflicts, therefore also releasing some of the intensity that comes with the Venus in Scorpio transit on the 10th.
Full Moon in Pisces on September 20th
The moon represents our internal environment and how emotions may process. Many astrologers would argue that the moon is the most influential planet, since the moon makes a new transit every two days. The Full Moon in Pisces emphasizes release in aspects of life we may be delusional about. This time also calls for a high intuition and many may find themselves needing more sleep.
Sun enters Libra on September 22nd
The gaseous ball most associated with astrology culture is the sun, representing identity and ego. Happy early/belated birthday to any Virgos, but your time in the Sun will come to an end once this transit sets in motion. Sun transitioning from Virgo to Libra makes it important that you don’t stray away from being organized and efficient. Social lives will increase in movement around this period, for Libra rules the planet and house of relationships. If you aren’t boo’d up before the 22nd expect to be soon.
Grand Air Trine on September 26th
Grand trines, where planets are positioned at vertices of a perfect triangle, are a sign of good fortune and blessings and will especially be benefiting those who have air placements in their natal birth chart! Essentially the air signs Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius will be forming a triangle in the stars with the Moon, Sun/Mars, and Saturn. In a general sense, the air signs promote intelligence, communication, and curiosity. The 26th will be the perfect day to post a TikTok or publish a big story.
Mercury in Libra goes into Retrograde on September 27th
People who are familiar with astrology usually are fearful when the retrograde season approaches. Mercury is the planet of communication and the mind. A planet in retrograde creates contradictions and confusion around the energies of which the planet presents. This means that during this time it may be hard to communicate or think straight. No one is destined to miscommunicate with the people close to them for this transit also helps overthinkers to relax and instead not think at all. The best advice is to go with the flow, but avoid being too impulsive.
It is important to take everything here with a grain of salt, for these transits only speak of overall influencing energies. Nothing is set in stone and, of course, use your discernment throughout your life decisions.
