With Easter just around the corner, plenty of exciting activities are happening around Lexington, Kentucky.

One of the most loved traditions is the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Jacobson Park, hosted by the Lexington Parks and Recreation Department. This year, the egg hunt will occur on April 3rd from 1-3 PM and is open to children ages ten and under. Bring your baskets and join the fun.

Another great family option is the Easter Bunny Express at the Bluegrass Railroad Museum. Hop aboard the train and ride through the beautiful Kentucky countryside, all while meeting the Easter Bunny and enjoying other festive activities. This year’s Easter Bunny Express will run on April 2nd and 3rd.

The Fayette Mall is great for shopping and hanging out with friends or family. This year they are doing an Easter bunny visiting event. You can reserve a spot to meet the bunny at Dillard’s court. You get to take cute pictures of you and your kids or just you and some friends or alone, if you wish.

Keeneland Racetrack hosts a bourbon and bets event on Easter Sunday for those looking for an older, more adult-friendly Easter activity. Sip on delicious bourbon cocktails while placing bets on the horse races and enjoy a beautiful day in the sun.

Last but not least, don’t forget the delicious food options available around Lexington. Many restaurants offer Easter brunch Specials, including Holly Hill Inn, Azur, and Dudley’s, just to name a few. From colorful pancakes at IHOP, to savory Easter Sunday burgers at Wendy’s, there’s sure to be something to spark your interest.
