The Dutch Bros Sign outside of their Lexington location taken on September 17th, 2023.

Dutch Bros is a popular coffee company located in the U.S. with various locations. The coffee company was created in 1992, starting as a little pushcart by the downtown railroad tracks in Grants Pass, Oregon. Travis Boersma left the dairy business he was previously a part of to sell coffee and connect with his community. In 2000 the first stationary Dutch Bros opened in Oregon because of its popularity and loyal customers. Since then, they have expanded to over 500 locations in more than 12 states, still expanding.

Dutch Bros opened at 234 E. New Circle Rd. on September 5th in Lexington, KY. They had their grand opening on September 7th. It is located near Bryan Station and the Counter Clocks stadium.

The menu is a wide variety of drinks with some food items like muffin tops and granola bars. The drink options include coffees, teas, smoothies, and more. They have Dutch Classics, cold brews, Rebel energy drinks, lemonade, Dutch sodas, chai, and many other options.

Dutch Bros is committed to having a strong community, creating a diverse and inclusive work environment, and being environmentally friendly. They have many positive reviews regarding their menu options, staff, and kindness. The most expensive item on their menu is around $10, and their cheapest item is around $1.50. Their average price is around $3.94.

The Dutch Bros at the Lexington location does not have a dining room but a double-lane drive-thru with a big grassy area in front of their restaurant. Currently, they have corn-hole boards, but it is unknown if they will stay out there for the entirety of their opening. The staff is very nice and friendly, they take orders in an orderly and fast fashion, and it is a very good place with staff eager to help.

Dutch Bros is sure to be a popular spot to get some good coffee to start your day. Dutch Bros plans to continue expanding their business and gain more loyal customers. They are still serving the same quality coffee with the same great service that they’ve had since 1992, so stop by and show them some support.
