Lafayette High School’s Cheer Team is approaching the end of its season with just a few games left to cheer. The team recently returned from Nationals on February 5th, facing tough competition. Unfortunately, they didn’t advance past the preliminaries in either of their routines, disappointing some cheerleaders. However, their coaches offered reassuring words, encouraging them to maintain a positive outlook: “Don't be upset with your performance.”

Many cheerleaders from last year have expressed their intent to attend the upcoming open gyms. However, some are still undecided about returning to the team following their Nationals experience. Cheerleader Mika Ishmael mentioned, “I am coming back to the team and hoping for an exciting journey.”
