Lafayette vs. Tates Creek and Game Preview vs. Frederick Douglass
December 15, 2017
This past Tuesday, Lafayette played Tates Creek at home. Lafayette came out and played amazing and got the job done, as they handled Creek 79-49. Devontae Hayes led the team with 14 points, and 16 rebounds. Evan Dreux led in scoring with 15 points. Lafayette had 4 players in double figures, and 7 players score more than five points.
This Friday, Lafayette stays at home, when they take on brand-new Frederick Douglass. Frederick Douglass is 2-3 so far in this young season, while Lafayette has started hot, going 4-1. Lafayette is 3-0 at home this year, but this is Frederick Douglass first ever away game. Based on the stats, Lafayette averages 76 points per game, to Frederick´s 70.6 points per game. Lafayette gives up 60.2 points per game, while Frederick gives up 77.2.
I´m predicting a relatively close game, as Lafayette pulls away with a 5-10 point win. Can´t wait to see everyone piling in to Carlisle-Jackson Gym.
Lafayette starting lineup:
