On February 16th and 17th, the Kentucky State Wrestling tournament took place at the Kentucky Horse Park. The Generals took eight wrestlers to State and they performed very well. The eight wrestlers were Kevin Vasquez, Mason Boggs, Will Marshall, Caleb Bowling, Azariah Saunier, Justin Chavez, Zac Stray, and Christian Potter. Kevin Vasquez was ranked 2nd in the state coming into the tournament, he placed 5th overall in the state. The team placed 41st in the state and the team had 22.0 total points. 2018 is Kevin Vasquez’s last year of wrestling on a high school level. He has received a college scholarship to Campbellsville university.
