The Lafayette Times is hosting a poetry contest!

Inspired by March Madness, the top 8 favorite poems selected by the Times staff will go on to a bracket style competition. Poems will be paired side by side and voted by poll. The winner of each pair will go on to to the next round, for a total of three rounds.

There are some general guidelines:

1. Must be school appropriate.
2. Minimum of eight lines.
3. Do not exceed more than a page length.
4. Must include the title, your name, and grade level.

Submissions are due March 14th, 2018.
