Wellness Wednesday is the first Wednesday of every month. It is when teachers really focus more on the students well-being and health rather than curriculum or studies. Teachers wear more sporty and athletic attire like yoga pants, leggings and shorts rather than typical busness attire.

In past years teachers have taken students out on walks to get them active and up out of a classroom. Also, students were given water bottles to be inspired to drink more water. Wellness Wednesday is a good change of pace for the teachers and students to stop working for a little bit and get active to keep them healthy, and more engaged in class. It has been shown that these kind of activities stimulate the brain so the brain will work faster.
