On this Wednesday, April 16 at Arts Place on Mill St junior SCAPA literary arts major Eliza Sayers is the guest on RED Barn Radio Live. The show features Bluegrass muscians in their one-hour program. The show tapings are live and open to the public. Tickets are $8 at the Church Street door or you can purchase online at their website. Teachers get in for free for the 2018 season with ID.

Eliza is performing 15 original songs along with fellow Lafayette students Colby Grant and Jon Elllis McGee accompanying her. You can watch Eliza perform the song “Without You” here on YouTube.

Eliza Sayers is a 16 year old singer/songwriter from here in Lexington. She started playing guitar when she was 14 and has been writing songs ever since. She starting performing at a local open mic. She has performed at Lexington’s LEXIFEST festival and local shows for music benefits in her home town. Lafayette’s associate principal Richard Royster says, “Eliza is an amazing singer and writes great stuff”. He encourages everyone to go out and support Eliza at 8 p.m. tonight.
