The Lafayette High School Student Council has organized many great events this past year. From dances to fundraisers to back-to-school bashes. This year’s student council planned Homecoming and designed several awesome t-shirts. Student Council also organized the Dance Blue, for the past three years all Dance Blue’s have ended highly successful.

After asking a Student Council member what they thought was the biggest highlights, they replied, “Dance Blue, fundraising, and homecoming”.

The Student Council also has some big plans for next year. Starting with a back-to-school bash, a great way to get teachers, students, and the community together. Along with this event, plans are in the works to expand the dances next year. One change for next year is that homecoming will hopefully be held off-campus, instead of in the cafeteria.

The Student Council has had a great year and has plans for a great 2018-2019.
