Board Game Club
October 12, 2018
Board Game Club is officially up and running!
Enjoy playing games like The Resistance where you and your team to try to overthrow a government, or the mischievous secrets of the game Werewolf in which you try to keep from being discovered in the village of werewolves and village people. There is also the strategic game of Modern Art in which you play to acquire the most money by buying and selling paintings.
Board games have long been a way to bring people together in an activity of competitiveness and laughter and this club does just that. Lead by English teacher, Mr. McCurry, this club welcomes all who enjoy playing board games and want to have a good time with friends.
The club meets Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5:30 all year long. Activities include engaging in a variety of board games with fellow students. The games are interesting and competitive, so be prepared for a whirlwind of fun! Each game is guaranteed to result in an amusing and bonding experience, and according to Mr. McCurry, “Some games can take minutes, and others can take hours.”
As you can see, this club is for anyone wanting to enjoy old-fashioned fun. To join, simply show up to a meeting with a smile on your face!
