On Friday, Feb 8, the Lafayette Generals (14-4) will be taking on the Trinity Shamrocks (19-7). The game will be at 8 pm and will take place at Trinity Highschool in Louisville, Kentucky. Lafayette has been on a hot streak as of late and is hopeful to win against Trinity this Friday.

Here is what Sophomore Emmet Fitzgibbon has to say about Friday’s game, “Well, I know we’ve been winning a lot recently so I’m hoping we can continue with tomorrow’s game.” When asked if he was going to attend the game, he had this to say, “No, I’m not. It’s in Louisville! Are you joking, I ain’t driving an hour and a half”.

Good Luck to our Lafayette Basketball team, let’s try to get our winning streak to 7 with our game against Trinity. The next game will be against Henry Clay on the 12th, and they are optimistic that they can finish off the season with 16 wins. Our team has been on fire so far, and we hope that they can continue this great winning streak over the next few weeks.

Update: Lafayette Lost 53-47 and will be playing Henry Clay on Tuesday Night.
