During Women’s Engineering Day (WIE Day), women in high school from grades 10-12 get to interact with students, alumni, staff, and faculty as they look at the U.K. engineering program. Women that participate will learn about the process of applying to U.K, learn what it takes to be a successful engineering student, meet staff and faculty in the engineering department, and how to get involved with leaders in the U.K. Society of Women Engineers. Parents and guardians will also have a special workshop in which they will learn how they can help their daughters pursue a career in engineering.

If you want to participate in WIE Day, you will have to register first. Although it is free, sales to register end on March 15th, so don’t forget to register before then. Click here to register. Women’s Engineering Day will be held on Tuesday, March 19th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the CM Gatton College of Business and Economics, in the B&E Woodward Hall Event Space.
