Kiley Hughes is a freshman at Lafayette High school. This is her first year on The Lafayette Times as an Opinion writer. She enjoys reading and writing poetry. Writing helps her escape from reality and express herself. Kiley chose to join the journalism class to further her education in writing. She looks forward to a great year with The Lafayette Times.
