Rosie Katz is a sophomore at Lafayette. This is her first year with the Lafayette Times. She has a published children’s story that she wrote when she was seven years old. Rosie is also an activist for period poverty where she is raising awareness to stop the financial struggle with period products in schools. She is a competitive dancer in all styles. Rosie is a member of the Lafayette orchestra, and a member of Lafayette’s student council. She is very excited to write for the Lafayette Times this year.
