Sophie Mintu is a freshman at Lafayette High School. This is her first year writing for the
Lafayette Times. She has been a dancer at Bluegrass Youth Ballet for 11 years, so she spends
most of her time in the studio. Aside from that, she loves spending time with her friends and
playing pickleball and crocheting. She loves to write and is so excited for her school year of
writing for the Lafayette Times.
