The Laramie Project is a play written by Moisés Kaufman. The play tells the story of the 1988 hate crime murder of Matthew Shepherd in Laramie, Wyoming. Matthew, a gay student from the University of Wyoming, was brutally murdered by two members of the town. The play uses interviews, news footage, and journal entries to create what is known as verbatim theatre.

The SCAPA Theatre 3/4 class will be performing the show twice for the public: Wednesday, March 20th and Thursday, March 21st at 6:30 PM.

Tickets are $10 at the door, a portion of which will be donated to the Matthew Shepherd Foundation.

Seats are limited, as the show* will be performed in the round (the audience will sit on stage).
