Homecoming King and Queen, Ryder McConaughey (right) and Amelia Mintu (left) wave to the football game crowd.

Homecoming is just around the corner, with the football game that took place on October 14th and the dance on November 5th. The lucky 2022 homecoming court members were shown at the game on Friday.

First, what is Homecoming Court? Our Court at Lafayette consists of two freshmen, two sophomores, two juniors, and eight seniors, all voted by their peers to represent their classes.

Even though every candidate deserved a spot on the homecoming court just as much as the next, here are the lucky winners for this year:

Freshmen: Alessandra Montes and Max McGee

Sophomores: Elise Caravello and Stone Kacmarcik

Juniors: Cailyn Fuamatu and Dexter Gray

Seniors: Joseph Babcock, Isaac Chavez, Aileen Conner, Kimberly Escalante-Felix, Ryder McConathy, Amelia Mintu, Alex Price, and Amanda Woolum

Congratulations to our 2022 homecoming court members and our newly crowned homecoming King and Queen, Ryder McConathy and Amelia Mintu.
