Julia Burns is currently a freshman at Lafayette High School and is enrolled in the School for Creative And Performing Arts as a piano major. She was a previous winner of the D.A.R.E (Drugs Abuse Resistance Education) essay contest in fifth grade and loves to write short stories. She also takes private lessons for various instruments and enjoys reading and watching movies in her free time.
