Jolena Thomas is a freshman and part of the “hype duo'' on the Lafayette volleyball team. The “hype duo” is a running joke on the team about how Jolena and her friend are always the most excited during games. She does track and field and is a new addition to the student council. Jolena is her family's photographer and hopes to carry that over to the Lafayette Times.
